It has been 4 months since Mary and I have been assigned here at Our Lady of the Lakes Parish. We have been welcomed by many and have been busy trying to get to meet everyone and get acquainted with the Faith Community. Thank you to all who have shown your kindness through gifts, my prayers go out to you and your families. Please continue to introduce yourselves to us as we work at remembering so many smiling faces. Beginning on Sunday, February 25th and the following 4 Sundays from 4:00-6:00pm, Mary and I will be presenting a series called "Hungry I Come to You." In this 5 part series we will be exploring the different types of hunger we experience in our faith lives. Each of the first four weeks we will have a simple soup and bread meal followed by a presentation. On the fifth week the presentation will be given during a hunger banquet. It will be an opportunity for us to get to know one another better as we journey together toward Holy Week and the Easter Season.
